Cub Scout Registration & Dues (2025)

​

1. National BSA Registration Fee (Annual)

 

• Youth Members (Cub Scouts): $85/year (paid directly to National BSA).

• New Scouts:

  • Register and pay online at my.scouting.org.

  • New families must create an account first.

  • One-time $25 joining fee (in addition to the $85) applies only when first joining, and covers Kindergarten–5th grade.

• Returning Scouts:

  • Parents receive an email ~60 days before dues expire.

  • Renewal can only be done during that window (no early renewals).

• Adults:

  • Cubmasters and Den Leaders pay a fee.

  • Other parents do not pay unless they are registered leaders.

 

 

2. Local Pack/Troop Dues (Annual)

 

• Amount: $150 per Scout.

• Covers: Awards, activities, camping, and program materials.

• Payment:​

  • Use the gold “Pay Now” PayPal button at the bottom of the page.

  • Be sure to include your Scout’s name at checkout.

 

 

3. Other Costs

 

• Not included in dues: Uniform, handbook, and optional activity/camping fees.

Photography Publishing Policy

In a good-faith effort to promote Scouting and to share within the Scouting community, Mill Valley Pack 34 may publish from time to time on our website, photos of our Scouts and participating family members performing Pack activities.  We realize that some Scouts, and participating family members, may prefer not to have their photos posted on our website, and to accommodate any such concerns, we ask that you immediately notify us here if you do not want photos of your Scout and/or participating family members posted on our website.  We will make every effort to promptly remove any unauthorized photos from our website when notified.
