Bears,

Pack Meeting - April 20, Wednesday, Mill Valley Community Teen Center and Lounge - (7:00 PM - 8:30 PM)

We will have awards and there will be a scavenger hunt. Set up tents.

Family Fiesta Campout - Friday, April 29 - Sunday May 1

This year, Pack 34 is trying to beat our all-time attendance record at

Family Fiesta, Camp Tamarancho. Knowing that Saturday commitments might
make it difficult for camping Saturday night, Pack 34 is encouraging scouts
and their families to camp out Friday night, Apr 29th. (There will be
families camping out both nights.)

Saturday is filled with great activities including fishing, bb guns,
archery, swimming, cow tipping, water balloon funnel, evening skit show,
star hike, and, of course, the snoring contest.

FAMILY FIESTA, April 29th, 30th, & May 1st

Hey Extreme Bears (soon to be Webelos I),

This year, Pack 34 is trying to beat our all-time attendance record at Family Fiesta, Camp Tamarancho. Knowing that Saturday commitments might make it difficult for camping Saturday night, Pack 34 is encouraging scouts and their families to camp out Friday night, Apr 29th. (There will be families camping out both nights.)

I think that each den is responsible for Friday dinner so Bill and I can help coordinate a five course meal for Extreme Bears families (e.g., chips & salsa, hamburgers, salad, smores, & Tums....). Yums! Come and hear which dad snores the loudest. 1st place takes home a prize.

Saturday is filled with great activities including fishing, bb guns, archery, swimming, cow tipping, water balloon funnel, evening skit show, star hike, and, of course, the snoring contest.

We hope you can join in the fun. Please let us know if you can come.

Webelo's Woods: Bears and Webelos

Current Bears and Webelo 1,

This is a Webelos only event. So, the current Bears that bridge to Webelos are eligible.

NO siblings on this trip.

Webelos Woods is coming up on July 8-10 at Marin Sierra at Tahoe. I went with Mac two years ago, it is awesome. I am taking Sammy this year.

This is intended to be a father-son (or a mother-son) trip. Not many moms went last time (I remember one).

In addition to having a great time fishing, swimming, boating,....each boy will also knock out some key achievements.

There is more information here. When you click on Webelos Woods, you will get the sign up sheet.

Cub on Camera

The San Francisco Chronicle has a nice article and photo capturing Miles Lundgren on Memorial Day. They write:

Miles Lundgren, 8, a Mill Valley Cub Scout, places American flags on tombstones at Presidio National Cemetery in San Francisco on Saturday during the Memorial Day weekend holiday. Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are putting flags on all 35,000 tombstones at the site.
