Hey Pack 34 Parents,
This seems a like a long time from now but we're planning the annual rafting trip and I need to make sure we'll have a full flotilla before put down our $2,000 deposit. Please reply by July 2 to let us know if you plan to attend. Last year we sold out all 40 spots and I hope to repeat that success this year.
The trip will occur on Sunday, Sept. 16 on the American River. The plan is to campout on the river on Sat. Night Sept. 15, then raft on the morning of the 16th. If you don't want to campout you can drive up early on Sunday morning and still do the rafting.
For those who have not gone before the rafts are professionally guided and they are very safety conscious.
We've been assured that there will be ample water flowing through the Devil's Cistern and all of the other beloved rapids.
The cost will be $125 per person. Jeff Musser is the organizer.
The trip is not recommended for children under 7 so unfortunately we have to leave little siblings behind.

Our final pack event of the 2006-2007 season is this Wed. Night at 7 pm. Bring well fed scouts in uniform and swimsuits! We have the pool until 8:30.

There is a fishing event for all Marin Cub Scouts at the Marin Rod and Gun Club (old pier just north of Richmond SR Bridge) this Saturday from 9 to 1.
You need to register in advance so please see attached for all the info.
