FAMILY FIESTA, April 29th, 30th, & May 1st

Hey Extreme Bears (soon to be Webelos I),

This year, Pack 34 is trying to beat our all-time attendance record at Family Fiesta, Camp Tamarancho. Knowing that Saturday commitments might make it difficult for camping Saturday night, Pack 34 is encouraging scouts and their families to camp out Friday night, Apr 29th. (There will be families camping out both nights.)

I think that each den is responsible for Friday dinner so Bill and I can help coordinate a five course meal for Extreme Bears families (e.g., chips & salsa, hamburgers, salad, smores, & Tums....). Yums! Come and hear which dad snores the loudest. 1st place takes home a prize.

Saturday is filled with great activities including fishing, bb guns, archery, swimming, cow tipping, water balloon funnel, evening skit show, star hike, and, of course, the snoring contest.

We hope you can join in the fun. Please let us know if you can come.

Bill & Israel

Family Fiesta 2005

Family Fiesta is coming up soon! Dates are Friday April 29th to Sunday, May 1st at Camp Tamarancho in Fairfax.

Pack 34 will be camping out both Friday and Saturday nights. We highly recommend Friday - it's less crowded, and there will be a gourmet camping dinner.

During the day there are lots of fun activities for the boys: archery, bb gun shooting, obstacle course, hiking, camp crafts, camping and cooking demonstrations, and more. There will be a campfire on Saturday evening that will include skits, songs, a raffle, and exciting contests.

This year's theme is "Prehistoric Times". At the opening ceremony on Saturday morning, special recognition will go to Scouts who come dressed in their favorite caveman, dinosaur, or other pre-historic costume.

In order to get meal tickets or the $10 discount price, sign up before April 15th.

For more information and to sign up, use this form.
