Bus Stop Cleanup

John Smeltzer will be in charge of the Bus Stop Cleanup this year.  But important for each den to communicate their assigned bus stop and time early tothe parents since Feb 5 is such a heavy day.

At the Committee meeting, we agreed on 4pm as the time for the cleanup for all dens.

See the attached plan for assignments and what to bring.

Note, the assignments will stand year after year.  That way, the scouts will do a different stop each year as he progresses.

Candy Sales Plan

Den Leaders,

As you remember, from our committee meeting we decided to have a written plan on the website so each den leader can refer to it, thus, not recreate each year.

I have written the Candy Sales Plan to get us kick started (Duncan, please make any tweaks and send to Bill if I have missed anything).

Bill, Here is your plan.  You may want to tap Lisa Yee for advice as well.

Thanks,

Cubmeister Kerry

Pick up your rockets

Astrocubs, get ready for launch day! Here are directions to Gunning’s Hobbies, which has a wide selection of rockets. It appears to be very near the Library and City Hall in San Anselmo. The phone number is 415-454-3087.

Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone,

Lots of miscellaneous items to ring in the New Year.

Den leaders, the segment for December was:  Caroling.

Also, please give out the appropriate beads....to your boys at the January meeting.

Lastly, remind families to build rockets for the launch date (TBD).

Blue & Gold Dinner is Saturday Feb 5th, time TBD, but probably 6-8PM, at the Golf Course Clubhouse.

Kids, bring socks and shaving items for the poor to our next meeting, this is for our January Service Project. I will load in my jeep and haul to Ritter House.

For those that are running Pinewood Derby for us, there is a roundtable this Wednesday, January 5 featuring our own Pinewood Derby Guru, Jim Simkalo!  His topic, "How to Run a Successful Pinewood Derby". 7:30PM at the LDS Church. Attend if you can.

Tx, Kerry
