Den leaders,
Please remember to pick up your food bags tomorrow, 11/20.
Food bags should be dropped off at Scout Hall before noon - Boy Scouts will take the food up to the food bank in Novato for the "weigh in".
Best,
Dave
I am very happy to announce that Michael Rosenblatt will join us as a Bear Scout and his dad Abram will be our new Den Leader!!!!

Den Leaders:
Remember to print out the standards and a tally sheet for each Scout per my earlier email. Bring pencils for everyone in your den. Lastly, bring a ruler for the visit.
Don't plan to borrow any of these items from other dens, this process will move quickly with little to no room for borrowing stuff...
Agenda for the night
See you then. In case you lost your last email, here are the standards and the website if you want to pull other stuff for your Den (the tally sheet can be customized per your Den names).
Thanks, Kerry
The Annual Cub Food Drive is approaching.
Each of the den leaders has received this map, showing the territories they are to cover.
Den leaders will be in touch with parents about what time the dens will meet to distribute the bags on November 13th and pick them up on November 20th.
This provides food for those who need it during the holiday season-- a very good deed! And cubs get a food drive segment for participating.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Dave
There are some great spreadsheets for tracking Cub Scout achievements here.
Some truly amazing folks put these together!! Their emails are up on the site, so send them a thank you if you use their spreadsheet to track your Cubs' achievements.
Dave
Please distribute the attached standards to your den members.
As in the past, we will have everyone do their pushups, situps and vstretch at the meeting. We won't do any running drills there this time, that will be on the morning of the food drive.
This time, all activities will happen at the den level in the meeting. For example, Dave Lundgren will have all of his guys do their pushups at the same time, parents will be there to count, assist and record. Next will be situps, next v sit.
I have also attached a tally sheet. Please update with your kids names.
VERY IMPORTANT: Each den leader is responsible for printing out and bringing these two attachments to the meeting along with a writing instrument. After we are done, each den leader will submit to me. I will make a master document and bring to the running stuff later in November. ****Note: I will not be printing out these documents for this meeting.
After each den has accomplished this feat, we will have some good old fashion Indian wrestling... Now don't worry, these are outlined in the Bear book. They are easy, and kids like them. You won't have to worry about anyone getting hurt.
The kids still wear their uniforms, but they don't need to bring their hats.
See you then!
