I hope everyone had a great summer! I've seen all of you boys recently and you guys are big dogs now.

Our pack 34 committee recently had a planning meeting and we have some cool things on the to do list.

Sept. 9, 5:30-7:30pm
Pack potluck cook out
Sycamore Park
Apple smear and tug-o-war

Sept. 10, 8:10am
Flag raising ceremony, 9/11 observance
Park School
Wear uniform and get a flag segment

Sept. 18, 3-5pm
Relay for Life luminary placement/service project, Good deed segment
MLK track- Sausalito
I need a parent who can organize this. Bring a couple of red wagons and supervise placement of luminary bags. Easy!

Sunday morning early hike to West Point Inn, pancake breakfast.

October camp out, Camp Tamarancho

Committee Meeting Minutes and Calendar Update

Hi Everyone,

Here are my notes from the meeting. Also, on the calendar, we have a plan thru Dec. January on is highlighted in yellow to note that we haven't confirmed.

Summer Camp Segments

Kerry will email Bud at Council to get the list of achievements and segments earned. Will then send to den leaders.

Updated Roster

Kerry will send to den leaders.

Surplus Budget

We have approx $2K to spend on the kids. Several ideas were bantered about.*

• A banner
• T-shirts
• Boat trip

*No decision made as to how to spend. Kerry has t-shirt prices, Whoever does the boat trip will provide costs. We will determine at that time.

Pinewood Derby

Kerry will communicate to Pack 1 the following.

• We will assist in set up and take down.
• Check in and the race will be done separately from Pack 1.
• We will have ribbon/medals along with trophies and patches
• We will buy two scales (Joe Hiti to procure).

Israel to work with Dave LaDuke to insure only the calendar thru Dec is present.

September Cookout

• 5:30-7:30 at Sycamore park on Sep 9, Thurs. Renee Boeche is being solicited to manage.
• Kerry to bring apple smear and rope

Parent Volunteers

Only Den Leader will be contacted. Den leader will then secure with parent in charge to insure the activity happens.

Israel will manage the events with den leaders.

Kerry will manage the awards, achievements and meetings with den leaders.
