The San Francisco Chronicle has a nice article and photo capturing Miles Lundgren on Memorial Day. They write:
Miles Lundgren, 8, a Mill Valley Cub Scout, places American flags on tombstones at Presidio National Cemetery in San Francisco on Saturday during the Memorial Day weekend holiday. Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are putting flags on all 35,000 tombstones at the site.

Hi Everyone,
This is our third year for the Dirt Bowl basketball program. This has been a great fundraiser and recruiting opportunity for Pack 34.
If a scout brings another boy, and that boy joins, the scout gets a recruiter patch and a basketball segment.
Additionally, all boys get a cool t-shirt (see logos attached).
The great thing is, we schedule around your vacations...in the summer.
Please read all worksheet tabs and send to your den parents.
Thanks,
Kerry Huffman

P.S.: Kids outside of Mill Valley are more than welcome!
P.P.S.: We have girls as well as boys teams.
