Hey Pack 34,
This is a busy week as we've got our first official Pack meeting on Wed. night. The Scout Hall Family fundraiser on Friday and a new event Popcorn Sales on Saturday.
As always cub scouts should come to all events in full uniform and ready to have fun!
Wednesday, Oct. 10, 7PM, Scout Hall, 177 East Blithedale Ave., Mill Valley, Pack Meeting/Joining Night. This is our first pack meeting of the year so there will be awards and patches galore. Plus we'll induct all new boys into the pack. Have your scouts bring their friends. Boys in grades 1 to 5 are welcome to join. Boys who bring friends who become scouts receive a recruiting patch.
We are collecting annual dues so please bring a $80 check per scout made out to Pack 34.
Friday Oct. 12, 6:30 PM, Mill Valley Community Center, Scout Hall Halloween family Fundraiser. This is a family event to raise money to renovate Scout Hall. Fun for the whole family! www.mvscouthall.org
Saturday, Oct. 13, TIMES TBD, Popcorn sales at Safeway Camino Alto and Strawberry Safeway. This is a fundraiser for our pack. It's great opportunity for boys to learn sales skills. ABC, Always Be Closing!
Saturday, November 10, Time TBD, Scouting for Food Bag Drop. This is our first community service event of the year where we gather canned goods and non-perishables for the Marin Food Bank.
Wednesday, November 14, 7 PM, Scout Hall, Pack Meeting.
Saturday, November 17, Time TBD. This time we return to pick up the food.
We've got more activities planned but I want to make sure to give enough lead time so we have 100% attendance at all events.
Wednesday, December 12, 7 PM, Scout Hall, Pack Meeting.
