Time for my FAVORITE cub scout activity of the year -- the Memorial Day Flag Ceremony at the Presidio on Saturday, May 28th at 9 am. Couple of Highlights:
As for me, I like to share with my boys that although I am personally against this War with Iraq (and most wars), that we should be thankful for the American's who serve our country and who have died in arm's way. We should also be mindful that our community includes many people whose lives have been affected by war in many ways. We should always be respectful on Memorial Day.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (we start promptly at 9:00 a.m.)
Flag Ceremony by Troop 88 and Troop 15
Location: 1 Lincoln Blvd. , Presidio of San Francisco

Scouts & Adult Leaders should be in their uniforms
Following ceremony, all Scouts and Leaders in uniform may visit the Exploratorium for free.

There will be refreshments following the graveside flag placements, to the side of the main flagpole.
Patches will be available for pickup for all who participate at the event.
